"hi love", "sorry love", "how r u love", "anything else love", "may i, love", love, love, love, love, love, love that what i hear from british people instead of US version :: sweetie or darling.
Intermittently I enjoy living here in terms of social network. People are constantly interacting with each other and fundamentally due to the public transportation system as well as a prescribed successful urban scenarios: live-work-retail-entertainment that spread out thru the city. No matter where you exit, you will find this module in a walking distance.
But, I miss driving, I miss yelling at people "who do not know how to drive", I just miss LA. Instead I am in the tube with millions of people. Sometimes you cannot even get into the train that is so packed in the morning that you have to push your way thru. I think I am becoming like one of permanent residents here that do hate tourists. Tourists dominate London. They are taking their sweet time in the world with casual, slow, slow, very slow walking. They are just a constant impediment.
In addition, I am getting tired of how things set up here for the international students. I still have not received my UK debit card, my bank sent it to US address. But hopefully I will receive it in a week as I always say it.
I haven't been at my flat for a while meaning I have not spent a day there, just coming to sleep and going back to school, and primarily it is because of the internet which I still do not possess either. But today after three weeks of constant back and forth and partially because I drunk too much at the party last night that was thrown specifically for us, Phase I students by the Phase II students in DRL. It was cool drinking, dancing, lots of new people but I do not remember any names because a night before I slept 1.5 hours, so drinking afterwards not advisable as some of you know.
It has been a good weather for the past three days and it is worth to mention it as it is so gloomy here most of the time. So people do act differently with rays of sunshine. But I know it will rain heavily soon and I will complain about it.
